Binance to Rebrand Orion (ORN) to Lumia (LUMIA): Key Details

Binance has announced changes for Orion (ORN) token holders, effective October 2024 which includes rebrand ORN to Lumia. Starting on October 15 at 03:00 (UTC), Binance will delist all existing ORN trading pairs, including ORN/BTC and ORN/USDT, and cancel all pending spot trading orders. This marks the transition to the new token, Lumia (LUMIA), which will feature a revised total supply increasing from 92,631,255 ORN to 238,888,888 LUMIA.

Users have to process any ORN deposits well in advance, as deposits and withdrawals will be suspended at 03:30 (UTC) on the same day. Deposits for LUMIA will commence on October 18 at 08:00 (UTC), with trading for the LUMIA/USDT pair set to begin at 09:00 (UTC). Binance will ensure that all technical aspects of this transition are smooth.

Moreover, Binance’s lending platform will close all outstanding ORN loans on October 9 at 03:00 (UTC), urging users to settle their loans beforehand. The Binance Simple Earn program will also discontinue support for ORN from October 11, with automatic redemptions occurring for all remaining ORN positions.

Lastly, all ORN Gift Cards will be converted to LUMIA after the October 15 deadline. Users have to redeem any unredeemed gift cards before this time to receive ORN tokens.
