SafePal Wallet has announced the integration of Hedera-EVM into its wallet ecosystem, extending support for the Hedera network across both its software and hardware wallet products. The update allows users to manage Hedera’s native token, HBAR, along with other native assets directly through the SafePal mobile application and the company’s hardware wallet lineup.

Hedera-EVM is an Ethereum Virtual Machine–compatible environment built on Hedera’s public, proof-of-stake network. It is ready to support the development and deployment of decentralized applications while maintaining compatibility with Ethereum-based tools and smart contracts. By adding Hedera-EVM, SafePalexpands the range of blockchain networks available to its users and broadens its multi-chain coverage.

SafePal Wallet Integrates Hedera-EVM, Expanding Multi-Chain Asset

Following the latest SafePal wallet app update, users can now store, send, and receive HBAR in the same interface they use for other supported digital assets. This integration applies to both the mobile software wallet and SafePal’s hardware wallets, allowing users to manage Hedera assets with self-custody across different devices. Private keys remain under user control, in line with SafePal’s non-custodial wallet model.

In addition to asset management, the update enables SafePal users to access decentralized applications built within the Hedera EVM ecosystem. Through the in-app dApp browser, users can connect to supported protocols, interact with smart contracts, and take part in on-chain activities without leaving the SafePalenvironment. This brings Hedera-based applications alongside existing EVM-compatible networks already supported by the wallet.

SafePal stated that the integration is intended to strengthen cross-chain usability and give users greater flexibility when interacting with different blockchain ecosystems. By supporting Hedera-EVM, the wallet adds another option for users interested in EVM-compatible networks that operate outside the Ethereum mainnet.

The Hedera-EVM integration is now live and available to users who update to the latest version of the SafePalwallet app. SafePal has indicated that it will continue adding network support and features as part of its broader roadmap focused on multi-chain access and self-custody tools.
